Kumbalangi is a small integrated tourism village located 45km from Kochi International Airport. With a population of 30,000, the palace is popular for backwaters and Chinese fishing nets. The best toddy (local wine) shops can be found near the village as it is home of some fine toddy tappers.
Seen in the picture is a fish pond in the backwaters surrounded by the coconut trees.
