Four Varnas of Indian Culture

I always wonder about the number 4. This number appears too much in nature. There are 4 types of blood. A, B, AB and O. There are 4 types of people in the world. Asians, Chinese (Japan-China region), Africans and Europeans (Europe, America and Australia region). There are 4 Varnas in India culture. Brahmans , Kshatriya , Vashyas and Shudra . There are 4 Ashrams in Indian culture. Bal ashram, Vidhya Ashram, Grahsth ashram and Sanyas asram . I always believe that there is some relation between all these fours. Initially I thought that the varna system of Indian culture may have some relation with blood groups. Originally, this system was based on the nature of profession. Now it is based on the birth. I still have to do some more research in this area. Since blood group is not mentioned anywhere in the Indian mythology, I thought that the creators of the varna system might have represented the blood group with 4 varnas . The relationship between blood group and behaviour of a...

Give up all the knowledge, If you want to get close to GOD

I was fed off reading technical and personality development books. so yesterday I visited my favourite book shop and search for something light-weight. While moving here and there, I found myself standing at the Osho section of book shop. I have never read Osho earlier, So I decided to read osho this time. I grabbed the first book, that was nearest to me. It was in Hindi, but that doesn't matter to me. The book's title was "Shunya Ki Naav" (the boat of vaccum). By the word vaccum (or shunya), I mean that state of mind, where nothing is there. When I read this book, I come to know that Osho was a great phylosopher and thinker. He presented the material in such a logical way, that you cannot argue against it. He was a great teacher. I have only go though half of the pages of this book so far. But it inspired me to such an extent, that I cannot stop myself writing this post. Osho says, aquisition of knowledge is the main barrier in getting close to GOD. If you want to b...

Who Are You?

I asked myself, "Who are you". In our daily life we use the phrases like "my hand", "my brain", "my eyes", etc. If I analyze these phrases deeply, it becomes clear that my body parts are not myself. They belong to me but they are not me. By brain is not me, my eyes are not me. Then who am I and who is asking this question? I searched the answer in science. I went deep into anatomy and then in physiology. Flesh, blood, nerves, brain even cells is not me. Then who is me? Unanswered. I searched the answer in Hindu mythology. It says that this body is not me. I am soul. And the soul is the subset of God. Then Who s God? God, as described in the Hindu mythology, is everywhere. He is inside me and other living beings. He is inside non-livings. He is in ocean, mountains. He is everywhere in the universe. He is the root cause of every event. He controls the movements. He controls the motion of celestial bodies as well as the motion of atoms and subatomic...

I wanted to study release notes of ODP 10.2 before installing it. Is earched net for the same but unfortunately I cound not found anything. Are you a patient of high blood pressure ? If yes, drink tea. Yes, tea helps in controlling the high blood pressure . While searching the net for the effects of drinking tea on our health, I learn this fact. Acording to Americal Heart Association High blood pressure is a lifelong disease. It can usually be controlled but not cured. A recent study published in the Archives of Internal Medicine examined the effects of drinking green tea on blood pressure . The study revealed that people, who drink 120 ml per day or more of green or oolong tea for at least one year, reduced the risk of developing high blood pressure .
