Kumrangi
Kumbalangi is a small integrated tourism village located 45km from Kochi International Airport. With a population of 30,000, the palace is popular for backwaters and Chinese fishing nets. The best toddy (local wine) shops can be found near the village as it is home of some fine toddy tappers.
Seen in the picture is a fish pond in the backwaters surrounded by the coconut trees.

Monitor Lizard @Kakkanad, Kochi, Kerala

We were in the middle of market the other day when we found this Monitor Lizard at the corner of the road. Some locals have tied it with a rope while they were waiting for the forest official. Pic taken at Kakkanad, Kochi, South of India.

A Mathematician's Clok

Found this pic somewhere on the Internet. Looks interesting

A day in an orphanage

Last weekend we organised trip to Bassilious Boys orphanage at kochi. The purpose of trip was to mingle with the kids and provide moral and financial support to them. We gifted lots of items to the orphanage including clothes, lunch boxes and a computer. We sponsored lunch and all my team members had lunch with the kids. This followed by sports activities like football and basket ball games.

The kids were very happy. We also planned coaching classes for computer and English.
